Does anyone know if there's anywhere to warm a bottle in the parks or if a counter service restaurant would microwave it for us? My nephew is pretty picky and likes his milk warmer than a travel bottle warmer can get it.

Hi,
My sister used this Tommie tippie bottle warmer when she took her babies. She heated hot water in the microwave in the food court Then dumped the water into the white cover and the hot water back in afterwards, it was awesome. I wish they had something like this when I had little kids so I didn't have to stop and ask for hot water every time I warmed a bottle. I hope this help you!

We used this bottle warmer on our last trip, and it was great! I wish we'd known about it for our March trip. We used the coffee maker in our room to heat up the water, and it stayed hot enough to warm bottles for hours.

If you don't mind my asking, how warm does your child prefer his/her milk? My nephew is so particular and likes it pretty warm - not boiling of course but if it's not warm enough he'll refuse it. Because of that, we've had a hard time with bottle warmers because they generally don't get it warm enough for him.

because of regs, you will most likely only be able to get hot water to warm milk, as they are not allowed to warm anything not from there. I would guess that only micros in bay centers will be only place you can warm in a micro. that will also include baby foods

We always warmed her bottles (at that point) to skin (underside of wrist) temperature. The coffeemaker water was VERY hot, and the Tommie tippee thermos warmer is *very* good at keeping the heat.

Just for example purposes, my husband and I have boiled water at night (around 9-10) put it in the TT bottle warmer, and not opened it until 8-9 the next morning and it was still steaming hot.

If you can get to a microwave somewhere - even if it's in the baby care center in the park - you should be able to make the water hot enough to heat a bottle to very warm. You'd probably have to refill the thermos with hot water for a second bottle (unless you don't use it all the first time), but you can also ask for hot water at sit down restaurants and they'll bring it in a teapot (which would make it easy to pour into the thermos).
