Borrowing question for some of you old pros out there

I am planning a trip in April 2004 and will NOT be staying at my home resort. I will need to make my ressie in Sept 2003 at the 7-month window.

April is my use year.

I will use 2003 banked points and my total allottment of 2004 points. Am I allowed to borrow 2005 points when I make the ressie at the 7 month window in Sept 2003?

It goes by the date of your stay, not the day you make the reservation. I always write up a little chart.

Use Year: April
Dates of Trip: April 2004
April 2004 points are good from 4/1/04 to 3/31/05, so your trip is in your 2004 use year. banked = -1 year, borrowed = +1 year

You can use:

banked 2003
current 2004
borrowed 2005

Pig Pen, I'm no expert on the whole points thing---it can make my head spin. But, I did have an occassion to use banked points, current and borrowed for the Disney cruise. Our trip was Nov '02 and we made the official reservation in December '01. At that time, MS took all of our points and applied them to our ressie, including our "borrowed" 2003 points. I'm not certain if this is what you were asking ?
