Borrowing Points Question

Hey you DVC experts. I have a question:

I want to go to WDW in June. My use year start April 1st. I have used all my 2006 points (except two) because I really splurged on a Disney cruise and a long week at WDW with my family last year that required all my 2005 and 2006 points.

So my question is since the reservation dates are in June 2006 using 2007 points, can I still make the reservations now (in January 2006) using 2007 points or do I have to wait until April 1?

You can borrow the points now. All points usage is based on date of stay. Since your stay is in your 2006 use year, you can borrow 2007. The date you make the reservation does not matter.
