With more points than I need. Already have to use 96 points and borrowed another 19 to make a GCF reservation right when my window opened this morning. Now what?

Do you have any other reservations that you can reallocate the points to?
Is this at the 7 month window? If so someone might be walking and you can grab it tomorrow after they release that day.
Don't have any other reservations right now but I have time as it's a Feb use year. Got 2024 use year points when I did an add on earlier in 2025.
Today was the 7 month window for the reservation I wanted. Grand Californian for Jan 1 check in. Already missed out two other times for rooms at GCF and Aulani right at 8am the minute the 7 month opened.
I had the same problem just now, went to modify the reservation to a new resort which needed more points, got to the window that said your room is available, selected borrow points and put in the points needed, hit continue then the site crashed. When I finally was able to see my dashboard again the borrowing of points went through, but not the room modifying. Now I'm stuck with extra points and no room that I want is available
I actually just kept searching and all of a sudden it looks like inventory was re-loaded or something, my 1st pick and 2nd pick both had availability show up. So keep trying!
It is very interesting that it allowed you both to borrow the points without grabbing the room. This certainly sounds like a glitch.
Hopefully it will show back up for you @Jason Martin

Owe you one. Just went back and checked it and the inventory refreshed. Only saw a 1 BDR yesterday but now more room types are available. Now only if I can get my Aulani Christmas one to clear (do have a cash reservation so not all lost)

I would go to MS and ask them to move the points back. Borrowing shouldn't occur until the booking is "confirmed" as you can say you want to borrow but saying you want to borrow doesn't borrow the points its not until you reserve the room

But this seems like a glitch that should not happen. In this case, I would call Member Services because how are points borrowed (final transaction) but room not booked. Should not happen.

This morning I tried to modify, got a dinosaur error for 13 minutes, and then miraculously, all the studios for 7 months were gone. So someone (or bots) are getting through to book, while others are getting errored out.
And then I had the exam same problem as OP. it borrowed points without me finalizing a modification. Now waiting for member services.

The member services agent's first question was "Oh, the website is up?!" Apparently there were updates last night that caused issues. She was surprised that I'd been able to log in at all.
She confirmed it happened - points borrowed by the system without me actually finalizing a modification. She put me on hold and got the points unborrowed while I was on hold. I've confirmed that everything is back as it should be.
