Hey guys. I just watched something on the news. Apparently, a group in Washington wants to ban "boooing" at high school level sporting events. Do you agree?

I think that it is completely ludicrous. The group is just a bunch of politically-correct jerks that want to take the fun out of watching sports. When a call is made that favors the opposing team, it's only natural that there will be a reaction from the fans. I actually support "boooing" rather than throwing objects or doing something physically harmful to someone.

last year our boys basketball coach retired cause he had cancer and it was like during a game with our rival school where they retired his uniform and the other team was booing at him. i didnt go but i heard about it. i think that is just way uncalled for.

When lets talk football. The opposing team makes a touchdown...i go.
"ahhh. Nooo darn it!" Then just keep watching. I don't like to boo.

Of course. You don't boo when the other team scores. You boo when they come out on the court at a rivalry game. You boo when the ref makes a call for the other team and against you. You boo when there shoulda've been something called and there wasn't. Booing is like... an essential part of sports. Do something better with your time.

I was using it as an example.
I don't boo during any part of the sports. Just because I don't.

It's freedom of speech, there is no reason to ban it. There are different things to worry about than booing.

I think that disrespectful booing such as that is uncalled for. However, when a ref or an ump makes a bad call I think you should boo your heart out.

And even if they did do it... there'd be no way to enforce this ban. Seriously. If a big enough group of people boo'd how would they be able to tell who boo'd and who didnt? They wouldn't. This would be a waste of time.
