today my dad made chilli and corn bread. well the corn bread was done and he had it on the stove... and went 2 turn the chilli on... and turned the wrong burner on! and we had the corn bread in a glass pan. all i herd was a boom! it exploded!!!! . corn bread went everywhere! and glass. some glass hit my dad in the back... he was not hert.

That's funny. Once me and a friend were trying to make mashed potatos by using one of those countertop mixer things. Well, potatos went everywhere.

That reminds me of putting things in blenders and starting it without the cover on... (but now I think they have "safety covers" where it won't turn on unless the cover is on it).

I can't cook. Everytime I try to make something NOT involving a microwave I kill/mame/destory. I've blown up cookign spray, splattered stuff out of a blender, and my best friend caught a PICKLE on fire. (I taught her how to cook)

Wow.....a dude that cooks! It was probably Pyrex. When that stuff gets old, it explodes. Too bad you lost your corn bread

same. My dad doesn't cook often, but he can. We joke that the army killed his tastebuds (he'll eat anything) and for the longest time he never cooked (pushing several years here) then one day he gets hungry and decided to make pancakes! Now we'll set out a bowl, pan, and pancake mix. he usually gets the hint. lol

Not my Dad. He can't even barbeque. All he does is burn everything to a crisp. The only thing he can "make" is a peanut butter sandwich. Don't tax his brain with spreading jelly, just peanut butter. Mama left us home with him like twice where he had to make food, and we had PopTarts or cereal for every meal. We asked him for McDonalds (We were like 7 & 9), but he was so cheap he wouldn't buy us some.

Sorry about your cornbread! I can't cook worth a flip; I've run everyone out of the house because I put popcorn in the microwave for five minutes.

And my dad can cook. Pretty well, actually. But he does make so much Hamburger Helper and spaghetti that I am frankly sick of it all.
