Bookings For December

I am looking to go one of the first 2 weeks next Dec. and i know you can book 11 months out at your home resort. How tough is it to get a reservation as it gets closer to Dec? Anyone get shut out and how close were you to December? Basically, I am wondering how hard is it to get a reservation in December?

Not to change the subject but how much of a discount do you get a the Disney Store?

The first two weeks of December are extremely popular with DVCers because of the lower point requirements. Book as far in advance as you can...at least I recommend booking at your home resort, and then you can try to switch at the 7 month window, if there is availability.

There is no longer a discount at the Disney Store, the stores are no longer owned by Disney. There is a discount at DisneyShopping.com. See your current Vacation Magic for a limited time 20% discount online for December. Regular discount is 10%.

If you are looking for a std view at the Boardwalk in early Dec, I'd book day by day AT the 11 mo. mark.
