Booking with overlapping use years: help!

When I try to boom online for nov 30-dec 6 at ssr (home resort so within the time), it does not let me since it is 2 use years (ours is dec 1st). Is there a way to change that? When I log on at 7 months I don't want to be denied a switch if one is availabe and have to wait an additional hour and call. Thank you!

Online you have to book 2 separate reservations or you can call MS to book.

Based on the stay dates in your OP, you should be able to book the first portion with a check-in date of 11/30 and check-out date of 12/1, and then the second portion with a check-in date of 12/1 and check-out of 12/6. All subject to availability.

For a switch at 7 months you would have to cancel your SSR reservation and then do your new one so there's going to be a risk anyway although I'd think you could get SSR back and am not certain where you are trying to switch to. I'd either just wait and call in for MS to be able to book the whole thing if available or you could make 2 reservation to start at SSR and at 7 months cancel the Nov part and rebook your new resort and then when MS opens call in and I think they'd be able to modify and add the rest of the reservation if available. Otherwise online you'd have to wait until the new 7 month window opened to book the Dec part.
