Hi all

Does anybody know when expedia will begin to sell rooms for the beginning of December?

Looking at the DLP website it's coming up at €550 for 2 nights in the Santa Fe for 2 adults and I can't justify it especially when we will be arriving late on the first day.

I've booked on expedia before hassle free but rights now the aren't selling aim any disney hotel for the weekend of November 30th.

Has anybody any knowledge how far in advance they sell rooms?

Thanks!

I'd expect Expedia (and ebookers, alpharooms etc) to have the onsite rooms for sale for winter dates around the first week of October.

This is why I love this site! Thanks so much. I'll just book my flights for now :cool1:

I haven't seen any room only deals at DLP hotels on expedia for a while now. They didn't have any during the Summer or for Autumn. I assumed they'd stopped selling them. :confused3

they've had them for winter dates every year since at least 2007, so hopefully that will be the case again this year :).

Last winter we looked hard but could not find any room only deals via TA's at all - including expedia :confused3

However there was a flash sale for november/december dates at the beginning of November and we booked Cheyenne for 2 people/2nights for 136 pounds :)

I should add that this was midweek however - weekends in the run upto xmas will be more expensive I'm sure

I'm sure Expedia UK had room only for winter dates 2013/14 - the Cheyenne was available midweek in February 2014 through expedia/ebookers etc for less than £40 per room per night - very cheap even for winter dates on expedia etc.

Do you need to use expedia as I booked my hotel for August 2015 on booking.com, although it was a hotel in val d'europe I know there was dates in August for Kiriad, dream castle and explorers.

The partner hotels can be booked all year round with lots of agents etc, but the advantages of staying at the onsite hotels, combined with the low price of them for winter dates, when released to expedia/ebookers/alpharooms etc have traditionally made them a very competitive option for midweek winter dates every year.

We booked our room only bookings last year for December 2013, around September/October 2013. I can't remember int he end which site, but room onlys were definitely available.

Perfect! Expedia is normally so cheap midweek in winter and I want to stay onsite. Thanks for all of your help. I'll have to check online every couple of days!

Yeah, keep checking! Do you use QUidco? You'll get money back if you go through them - and you can also check ebookers (Also has Quidco cashback) and a few other places. I THINK it may have been ebookers we booked through - I can't remember! lol

We used expedia 2 months ago for our trip which we leave for on Sunday.
I have noticed they don't seem to have any more deals or and DLP trips on there at all at the moment. Maybe they get the late deals or leftover deals at short notice. :confused3

Ebookers sometimes have room only deals too. I think it was through them that there was a crazy deal for March (not your dates, I know) but might be worth keeping an eye out?

Can anyone guesstimate the price of 1 night DLH via Expedia, TR etc.
I know Cheyenne SF are normally around £50 SL around £80 and what are the chances of getting a room only at the very beginning of Nov ?

are you looking at weekend dates Jill?
I don't have a clue about DLH room only prices on Expedia etc, and I'm not sure they would even be available for 1st or 2nd November, as thats not low winter season yet (French schools still on holiday then).

However, if a 50% flash sale came up on the French site for your Saturday or Sunday, for the DLH for one night (including 2 days park tickets for one adult) it would be 584 euros for the Saturday, and 383 euros for the Sunday (can you tell I'm hoping for a flash sale ;)).

Sunday 2nd specifically Elaine, priced it up on dlp.co.uk £741.00 for 1 adult 1 night :scared1: or £418.00 on dlrp.fr

I got a fab price for the Kyriad booking earlier this year, for 5 nights B&B £260. and this is just me thinking out loud justified as a pre-christmas treat and because f my Kyriad bargain, but I was hoping for something nearer the £200/£250 mark.

We'll have our Dream AP's so don't need the tickets. :)

I will keep my fingers crossed for the flash sale for you :thumbsup2

I'm very tempted to book 2 nights at the SF for €380 on November 30th but I can't help but think when the current offer ends tomorrow that something better will come along!!

I think I might hold out for hope on expedia then I can get a new AP
