Hi I recently booked a reservation for my family- 4 cabins altogether all the reservations are linked. Two staterooms are Gold and two are Silver. Will the Gold member be able to book dinner and excursions for the entire family during their booking window or do we have to wait for Silver booking window?

You can book reservation for the Gold room on the Gold day, and then do the Silver on the Silver day, Or you can book everyone on the Silver day.

If you have at least 4 Gold members, you could change the reservations to have at least one Gold member in each stateroom. That way, all 4 rooms would be Gold and could be booked at the same time. Sleep in the staterooms you originally booked. This could possibly affect which muster station you are assigned to, and could also affect who is allowed to disembark with minor children without some additional paperwork.

No. You will have to book activities and do online checkin at the different dates for castaway members. We book 2 cabins for my family of 4. 2 platinum. 2 silver. We put a platinum in each cabin so everything can be booked at the same time. That also opens up more problems on the ship - guest services just gives us a couple spare key cards for the people who sleep in different cabins. They still have to use their original key cards for charging, getting on and off the ship, etc. And then use their original key new key cards for entering the cabin they are using.

Plus they have to attend muster location for the room they are actually registered in. And, if there are minor kids in a different room than a parent/guardian, that parent/guardian has to have a permission paper to take the child off the ship.

We just recently had to address this issue as well. My husband, son and I are all Gold, but my two daughters are Silver. We had to arrange the two rooms so that each daughter was in with ...one of us... so that we could book all together. It will all work out, but the logistics...crazy .
