Booking two rooms online

Can anyone tell me why it is that you cannot book/price out a package vacation with two rooms. There are 5 of us so we need two rooms at a value. I would rather not call as it takes forever and I don't have a long distance plan.

Why is it that they can't give you the same option as most hotels do and let you choose to have two rooms. It is a pain, especially when trying to price out how much it will cost. You have to go and do it twice. For us, once with 2 people and again with 3 or whatever combination we choose.

Anyone have any idea why they don't do this?

Not that it is a huge deal but it would be easier and more convenient.

Disney's reservation system leaves much to be desired. Rather than scrap the whole thing and build a new system, they just keep patching the old one.

You can make the two reservations online and then call in to Disney and ask them to make the reservations "travel with" (to connect them).

If you book twice, doesn't that mean that you have to pay twice.. one night's deposit on each? Considering it's room only. Agree.. I wish they would have an option as to how many rooms are you trying to book.

If you are unable to make a phone call then this may be one occasion where you would go to a travel agent and have them make the bookings for you. Because once you make the reservation, if you need to alter the booking in any way, it has to be done by phone.

I think you still need one night's deposit per room regardless of whether it's one reservation or two.

That is correct; Disney sees it as two ressies, so you have two separate reservation nos. And two separate deposits.
