Booking today - 6/28

I did the online thing and called this morning just to double check something. Here is what I got:

Sept 26th - Cape May dinner
27th - Crystal Palace lunch
28th - Storybook Norway dinner (wanted Garden Grill but completely booked? will try again)
29th - Hollywood and Vines (character) lunch
30th - 1900 Park Fare
Oct 1st - Chef Mickey
2nd Tusker House character breakfast

I am pretty pleased with the online system. It is nice that I can check things and move things around if I want online now.

I think you have to make sure you enter the telephone number your resort reservation was booked under and make sure you do not use caps when typing in your reservation number...when I finally enter my info as mentioned above it worked.

Should be simple, right? LOL I have tried everything, including clearing cookies, and it still refuses to retrieve my reservation. Guess I'll chalk it up to the wonderful IT department that is Disney.

I got all of mine online today (although it was not the easiest, it made me do one at a time, then log out, log back in, etc).

Here's what I got!!

We are DVC members and our reservation number wouldn't come up in the online system so I called right at 7am this morning. A CM picked up almost immediately - didn't have to wait at all!

We were able to get Chef Mickey's on 9/30 at 9:15am (party of 4) for my DH and my birthday, which is what we wanted. I also booked Chef Mickey's on 9/29 (actual birthday for me and DH) at 9:25am as my DH loves breakfast and may want to go twice.

We had a bit more trouble booking for our party of 12 (mom's birthday dinner). Only a few restaurants will even take a party of 12. We ended up with Fulton's Crab House on 9/27 at 7pm. We were hoping for Ohana, LeCellier or Cali Grill. Ohana couldn't guarantee that we would all sit together. LeCellier wasn't available. And Cali Grill will only take up to parties of 8

Isn't it funny? I called right at 7am too and was on hold for over an HOUR! Thankfully mine did come up in the system and I was able to book online while waiting on hold.

Living in the Pacific NW I was up at 3:55 this morning and was on the phone as soon as they opened the dining lines. I spend 50 minutes on hold but managed to get all the ADR's we wanted. I had to flip some of the days around but we still got the most popular. Lecellier, Coral Reef, Wilderness Lodge, and Ohana. 90 days and counting!!

I was up bright and early (actually, I woke up at 3:00 a.m. because I was so excited!). Got online and started at 6:00 a.m., and was done by 6:15. The only thing I had to be flexible on was Le Cellier. We settled for a lunch instead of dinner.

We got:

9/26 - Biergarten
9/27 - Tony's
9/28 - Mama Melrose
9/29 - (counter services)
9/30 - Crystal Palace
10/1 - Le Cellier (lunch); Chefs de France (dinner)

I much prefer the online system over calling in!!!

I know! Isn't that crazy! I finally hung up because while I was on hold I managed to get all the ADR's I wanted online.

I'm not sure why, but I am unable to "retrieve my reservation". I type in the reservation number and telephone number and it advises me that my reservation cannot be retrieved, call WDW-Dine. When I look up the hotel reservation, I have no problem pulling it up. For some reason, however, the dining page will not retrieve it. Very frustrating. . .I really wanted to use the website to book this a.m. and I was up early enough to do it.

After we booked via telephone, I am able to pull up the dining reservations without a problem--just can't use the system to book anything. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

You are doing the same thing I was this morning at 6:45a. To make the dining ressies I was typing in my room reservation confirmation number and my phone number. (For some reason the phone number attached to this reservation was our CT phone number from two years ago ).

But to make my dining reservations I need to use my "current" NY phone number... I guess when they say Disney likes to collect phone numbers they aren't kidding.

Please try any/all phone numbers you have been associated with when traveling to WDW, this includeds cell phones.
