Booking thru AAA

I'm wondering if it's worth it to book thru AAA. I want to go in October, so I'm hoping for free dining. If I've already booked thru AAA, would my package go back up to full price if I try to add free dining, or would I still get the AAA rate on the room?

Only 1 discount is allowed at a time.

Also, if you want to maintain control, you can book through Disney yourself and ask them for the AAA rate which they will give if rooms available with it. This is what I usually do.

then, if free dining becomes available, you can call and change it. You will however, not keep the discounted room rate.

We booked our trip coming up in March thru AAA- Didn't save much, but supposedley there is a free tote bag and a $50 gift card upon checkin for each room since we booked thru AAA. We go in 3 weeks, so we'll see if thats accurate!
