Booking Through Hotel.com???

I apologize in advance if this has been posted before, but I *have* read through the threads as much as possible and don't recall seeing this topic.

Has anyone booked through Hotels.com before? I see they advertise quite a bit on TV, and there seems to be some very good rates through them.

Anything I should be worried about?

Be careful and ALWAYS read the fine print!! We ended up spending about $15-$20 extra from all of their booking fees, and then we had to cancel as we realized our confirmation was a different MONTH, which they admitted to it being thier fault, but, because the booking fees were non-refundable, they didn't give it back So now we are out that money from their mistake! So just be careful

Thanks a bunch! I'm a little leery of online booking, as my h had serious problems with another online travel site a few years ago (can't remember which one!)

Maybe it'd be better to just book through the site. I'm thinking of taking a quickie trip in a few weeks to turn in m Fla Play4 passes for Seasonal Passes! Gotta go cheap, though, so I can do my trip in October!
