Booking The Beak & Barrel Aug. 20th at 7pm EST!!

So just wondering, do we think this was done based on when people joined the queue, ie did the people who joined right at 6:30 get in first, or was this random??? I joined the VQ at 6:31 and got in at 7:12.

Also agree with everyone about signing up for something like mouse dining. Missed out on Geo-82 on our reservation day, but a few weeks later got the email that spots opened and we were able to snag a reservation.

Anyone know the layout for the BandB? Me and some friends went for a party of 4 reservation. The times didn’t work, so we changed it to a party of 2 and it worked. I wonder if, assuming they get a table that could seat four, if they’d let us in with them. Or, if it’s a 45 minute time limit, if we could split it up the reservation with 2 at a time for 20 minutes each.

Yeah without it even doing a grab on the hour & left us all sitting wondering..not sure how the queue was running.

Got on computer around 6:35 ET, phone on website 6:43 ET and phone on the app 7:05 ET. Computer got through. Got email confirmation at 7:10 ET. Phone..stayed on that queue and didn’t budge.

I was on the page at 6:30 and into the queue at 7:04 (or 7:09?).

I had the dining page open starting at about 6:15 and it switched to the VQ right at 6:30. Got in at 7:12.

You can always show up to a Disney reservation with less but it’s a toss-up if you can show up with more. Since this place will be highly in-demand for a while, I’d lean toward not expecting to add two more people.

Just one more person advising everyone that didn’t get in to set up a dining alert. I use the one that texts you (I don’t think I can say the name) and it totally works. We were needing one certain day in September for Geo 82 and for some reason they had a big drop about two weeks after dining reservations opened and I got numerous texts. I was able to get in at the time we originally wanted but couldn’t get and now I still get random texts when reservations open up for that time/date. It really does work!

If you made a reservation for 2 and the other person doesn't want to go, will they take you as a single person?

When they joined. The browsers that triggered were in order of when I joined and I think I joined around 6:45ish.

Yes, decreasing party size at check-in is no problem.

You can honestly do it in the app ahead of time on your own by modifying and just decreasing party size, but I wouldn't dare touch a confirmed Beak and Barrel right now with the queue system and Disney's wonky IT.
