booking rooms with ap rate

How does Disney handle it when an AP holder books more than 1 room in terms of who's listed on each room ressie. What I'm trying to figure out is how do I book 2 rooms with my AP when I'll only be in one room and don't think it would be fair to have to pay extra charge for being 3rd adult in other room.

Ok, here is how mine worked and I hope this helps.

I am paying for my dads room to go on vacation and have just him listed on the room but have it connected with my reservation so that I can still get the AP discount for his room. His name is on the room and not mine at all so that is how they did it for me.
