Booking Packages

I am trying to book a package for August 2021 at one of the All Stars but they all show as "no availability" Are they only allowing us to book for next year the hotels that are currently open now? Thanks

I was able to book two new Pop packages this morning. When I went into book the second room, there was no availability for the Preferred room that I wanted so I refreshed a couple of times and was able to snag it.
Keep trying, there may be people that either have it in their cart and won't actually book it

Maybe this has been discussed but I've been away for awhile.. how is the park hopper situation? I bought park hoppers but is it just in case they have it again next year?

Yes, I think that's correct, only resorts slated to open in 2020. I had wanted to book Movies, but opted for Pop instead.

Pop is slated to open for 2020, so is bookable for 2021. The All Stars aren't opening in 2020, so not sure if anyone is able to book them for 2021.

I was able to do mine online. I was actually just trying to add tickets to an existing package for 2021, but after 170 calls and no luck, I decided to just book a new package with tickets. I know people are having mixed results with the website, but it can't hurt trying...since if it works, it's a heck of a lot easier than by phone. It let me book my park reservations immediately, and once all of that was set, I canceled my previous pkg with no tickets. I took screen shots of everything and waited on my confirmation email just to be sure.

Ah I see what you are saying. I didnt realize All Stars was completely closed for 2020. That stinks for anyone looking to book that for next year. Im guessing Pop will sellout quickly at this point then since its the next best option

I was able to book 2 stays for July 2021 as room only. Not sure if anyone had posted this or not. I was also able to reserver park days with unactivated AP vouchers. I was not able to book anything, room-only or package for Thanksgiving week 2021. It looks like they haven't released that far out yet.

Well, after the cart being freed up to allow check out, I was able to book our family trip for March 2021 at Gran Destino Tower Standard View. 3 rooms in total, one room only and 2 room/ticket packages. Was able to book all of our park reservations with no issues. I was a little nervous that I would fall into issues since my brother and his wife are current APs that will expire in November. They don’t plan on renewing for 2021.

Was a little surprised at the price of the rooms as I’m more used to booking when some sort of discount is already offered or at least I know that one would eventually be offered. I guess that was in our previous Disney lives. My dad is rolling on 2 replaced hips and can’t get around as well as he used to so the Tower was key for us.

At least all of us who are all booked now know the worst case scenario price wise. We can just set back and keep our eyes peeled for any new deals to pop up.

Disappointed that all resorts aren't available for 2021 booking after having had to cancel our May 2020 (first trip back in 20 years) vacation. I looked forward to this day since I heard they were going to be releasing 2021 packages.

Got it! I was able to complete both our reservations and to pick our park days! Very exciting!!!
It was much smoother than I was expecting!
Also I was surprised to see I was able to pick a complimentary Magic Band (I thought they stopped it for 2021...)
Maybe they will remove it later but I decided to put the order in just in case!

I already had Feb 27-Mar 6 ASMo room only (made in Feb 2020). Was thinking of keeping and seeing if will be open or still closed. If closed, then maybe get moved like Sept 2020 ASMo. I am wondering if should keep and make POP package and then cancel one of them once more details/discounts become available?

This morning I was able to booked A package for CBR preferred room for Aug 2021. We really want to stay at AKL but its says no availability. Hoping on the 28th I can change the resort to AKL.

Has anybody faced this issue: booking a package as part of a split stay?

It seems that for 4 nights they cap me at 5 days of tickets. I want 8 days of tickets to cover the 2nd portion of a split stay. This “cap” is certainly new - I assume a result of the recent changes.

Has anybody faced this and called in to see if it can be done?
