Booking Packages

Question.. Sorry if this has been asked . If I book a reservation , room and tickets, for next Oct. and Disney still has not changed their rules (mask, no park hoppers,ect.) will we still be able to cancel room with tickets? I do know we need to cancel X amount of days before check in ..But if we add tickets to room will they let me cancel everything. I do know that " room only" I can cancel with in the time period just was unclear about adding tickets to the room. We always book room only in the past but it sounds like to me (and maybe I am wrong) I need to make park reservation when I book a room to reserve a spot into the parks. We have been to Disney 30 plus times this is not our first rodeo, but let my tell you this is not fun! Half of me says forget it and vacation elsewhere. I miss the "old" Disney!!!

Yes, you can cancel packages up to 30 days in advance and get all of your money back. At least that's how it's been for quite some time. I guess I can't be 100% certain on the terms and conditions for 2021 yet, but my educated guess is that it will be the same or similar.

You would think they could keep the room locked while they made that change right?

Sorry, I missed this part. You're right: you would have to cancel and rebook if you went from package to room-only (or vice versa). And unfortunately, they can't always guarantee that you'll be able to get the room back.

Not my TA, but I am in Pop Century FB group and a TA posted a screen shot from last night that said system estimated to come back on line 8-10AM, it said "2021" packages can be booked (did not have any dates listed) and 2020 packages could be modified. Also note that the 28 was for "select Good Neighbor" hotels to be able to book packages.

I don't know this woman, but she did post a screen shot that looked legit.

I got through on the regular line. My CM said they would be opening ressie up between 8-10am. I specifically asked if I (as a passholder ) would be able to make a resort only ressie for Feb. and he said yes. I asked about Oct.2021 and he said no only to the Sept. 26th date. I ask if I will be able to make my park reservations with my newly extended pass and he was less sure and said you should. He also stated I should be able to do this online, which I thought was surprising.

Hey, any CMs trying to book, my parents just successfully booked an AoA suite for April 2021 with a discount through the hub. Cms can book out through April.

Still waiting to book an August trip as well.

OK! I am able to see 2021 rates and bookings online! Was able to add a Poly Villa to my cart for May, but not able to checkout yet. The message says the checkout system is still unavailable.

I first tried to reserve a Poly Standard room but it told me booking for that resort was unavailable. I wonder if the system is still undergoing updates?

How did they get that? I'm on hold now to change my currently discounted 2020 room to 2021 and I'm really hoping I get to keep some form of a discount.

I know room only is 1 nights stay.
