Booking magical express

I was planning on driving to WDW in 2weeks with my daughter and grandson, but I found great airfare on SWA, so now we're flying. I need to book ME asap so I'll hopefully get luggage tags in time, but I can't get through to Disney reservations today (because of FD). Is there a way to book online? Either through the website or MDE? I've searched and can't find anything, but am hoping someone will know a way.

When I called that number, the recording says to book ME, I should call my booking agent, which is Disney. I hung up after hearing that. If I get to a live person at this number will I be able to book it?
BTW... Thanks for the quick replies!!

Ignore the recording and explain to the live agent that you are modifying your ME. Then give the agent your dates & flight info. No problems if new ME info.

I believe they run 24/7, but they won't pick up your luggage between 10pm & 5AM

DME runs 24/7. There will be a ride for you whenever you show up...as long as you made a DME reservation.
If your flight arrives after 10pm, and you have tagged your checked bags with the yellow tags, DME won't get your bags. So, it's best to leave tags off and get the bags yourself, and bring them to the bus with you.
In your case, you won't need to worry about checked bags since you'll have carry on only!

I spent almost an hour on hold at the regular number and finally gave up.. Thank you for posting the direct DME phone number, she took my flights and that is all done!!!

Now to figure out how to order my Magic Bands... I think I will wait on hold another day..

When I go into my MDE under Magic Bands, it says I need to link my reservation even though my reservation is there. I tried to link it anyways and it tells me to contact disney. I am not sure what or why? The magic bands and Fast pass+ is a new process for me.

Glad you got DME worked out ! You don't have to order Magic Bands they are automatically assigned with a resort stay. If you don't "customize" them you will get grey bands at check in. If you want to customize them just click on the link in your My Disney Experience account that says "customize magic bands" choose your colors and confirm the shipping address. If you customize then your bands will be mailed to you prior to your trip.

Thank you. For some reason the magic bands were not showing up in my account. A cm got them onto my account and I was able to chose myself a purple on haha.

Now to figure out fast pass +
