Booking into Be Our Guest

Ok... I'm 127 days till my trip. I can't get into Be our Guest already!!!!
Any tips anyone?? My daughter will be crushed if we can't go.
Do you think (realistically) if I check everyday I'd get a cancellation?

Just check everyday and also the cancellation thread. Also, if you can't get a dinner reservation you could do a QS lunch.

Yes, the QS will be our alternative, but I heard the line ups are really long.

when I was looking for June I noticed that when I was checking one day 9pm opened for 4 days the week I was there. not sure if that was a coincidence or if maybe they just opened those times up later. keep checking. I cancelled a BOG res and got another about 3 months prior to my trip

I wanted a dinner reservation for our anniversary trip in September. It took about a week of checking a few times a day on the website- finally got one for 8:45pm on 9/19.

Make sure to check every day (more than once if you have time) and don't get discouraged- something will probably open up as long as you keep looking.

"BoG', and just got this ADR last week !!!! The restaurant was NOT booked to capacity--- Our ADR was for 8:55, but we checked in at 8:00PM, and were seated 5 mins later--- people were walking up, and most were seated within a 1/2 hour-- !

Our 180 day window opened this morning. We are staying from 11/12 until 11/18 The only night I could get a reservation for was 11/18. We are a party of 7. Despite how popular the restaurant is, I was still surprised. Especially since when we dined there in January and April, they were taking "walk-ins" with little wait.

I agree with the other posters to keep checking a few times a day, but if you are unsuccessful, I would definintely try to be seated without a reservation. When we there in April, we had an early reservation (4:00-4:30) and a LOT of tables sat open the entire hour and a half that we were there.

Just keep trying. I was able to score a 6:15 for Fri 10/11 and my entire stay had no available for the past week. There are cancellations being made.

I've been trying the past week to book BoG too, for in September. Fingers crossed.

Those of you who have been successful, are you searching "dinner", or a specific time? I just keep a tab open and hitting "Find a table" over and over for each day that we'll be in MK.

Yes, and I would check more often closer to the 45 day window (payment due for packages) and week of your trip (because of CC guarantee).

I've used the "dinner" option, and specified times option - going from 4PM to 6PM to 8PM. Have also tried for a party of 2 (figuring I would just take my granddaughter and the "boys" would eat elsewhere); a party of 5 (which is what we are); and a party of 6 (because I've heard that even numbered parties seem to fare better on the Disney site).
I've used both the old site and the new MDE site.
No luck so far - but I'll keep trying. I got discouraged a few times but some people are reporting picking up cancellations, so I'll chug along and hope for the best. There will always be the lunch option - and we could also try a walk-up as some posters on other threads are reporting being taken without ADR's and that the dining rooms are definitely not full. I think these have been either very early or very late dining times tho.

I'd be interested to know if anyone has been recently and could comment on walk-ups, dining room capacity, etc now that the busy summer season is fast approaching. We'll be going the end of June...

Do not give up!!!! I checked the website 2-3 times daily for an 'Ohana ressie for this weekend starting approximately 2 months ago when we first decided to go for a weekend trip. I pretty much had given up, expecting to see the "unavailable" as usual, until yesterday (just 3 days prior to our dining day, this Saturday). I finally got a 6:40pm table for 2 and I'm thrilled. Honestly, don't give up! Keep checking closer to your date as well as people are much more likely to cancel since you need a credit card hold. Good luck!!
