Booking Bounce back without checking in??

I could really use the late August FD BB - problem is we don't check in until a week after the offer ends in November.

So, I was intrigued by a posters question on the Throwaway Room thread.... so here goes....

If I reserve and pay in full for a campsite (~50) but I never check in, can I call the BB line and book during my "stay"??

For my family of 5 (with 3 Disney Dining Adults) it's still a great deal after throwing away the $50 on a campsite.

I don't think so because they'd be able to tell that you hadn't checked in so they wouldn't allow the booking. Believe me, one of the blocks for Free Dining BB ends the day we arrive on June 6th. I'm so tempted to try and find a way to get down there for one night to save a bundle of money next summer.

You could book the bb for next year if you did online checkin, got the room text and could bypass the front desk. But what if you don't get the room text? We never get the room text. And also, I'm not really sure if the process is different when booking a campsite.
