Booking at Swan Reserve - will I have trouble with Genie+?

I’m about to book a stay at Disney swan Reserve. However - I’ve noticed a few reviews saying people have had issues booking Genie+ or Lightening Lanes at 7am while staying at this resort. Is this a widespread problem? Should I consider booking elsewhere? I have enough Marriott points for the stay to be free, but it wouldn’t be worth the added stress if I can’t make ride reservations.

I leave next week, but I’m concerned too. I wasn’t able to make dining reservations the morning of my 60 days. I called when phone lines opened and they were able to book over the phone, but I missed the opportunity to book in the morning. They said it was a known issue with the Swan Reserve. My family who are staying at the Swan and Dolphin didn’t have any issues. They assured me it was just with dining and Genie+ would be fine, but I’m skeptical.

It's pretty common on day of check-in at the Marriott properties for your reservation to get kicked out of Genie... I've had to reenter my conformation number several times. Just check a little before seven to make sure it's still showing your resort reservation in MDE.

It would only be the ILL ride that could be an issue. Everyone onsite and offsite can book their first G+ at 7 AM. I didn't have any trouble at the Swan in December, agree to make sure your reservation is still linked to MDE before you try for ILL at 7. From what I have been reading only Rise at DHS is still selling out really fast in the morning.

I just got back from the Swan and had no issues. Actually I had a slight issue getting into the virtual boarding queue for GOTG but I think it was because I wasn't confirming riders a few minutes before 7. I got an ILL for GOTG right at 7 one day, an ILL for ROTR right at 7 another day, and Genie+ LL for Slinky Dog right at 7 as well.
