Booking and code questions

I'm new to all this still. I didn't get in on the "old" rate, so when I get a chance to book, it will be at the new rates. This I understand. We're planning a trip in Sept, I'm waiting on the new school calendar to come out. My dd will start kindergarten in the fall.

Anyway, once I book, am I locked into that deal?? If a code happens to come out after I book, can I call and have the discount applied to my trip? Where is the best place to find codes? I'm sure that a Sept code will NOT be out any time soon, but just wanted know where to look.

I think that's all for now. I am so new to this. I'm very excited about getting our trip booked. This will be a first trip for all of us, and I think- I KNOW- I'm more excited than my dd.

I do not know if they charge to change your package. I know there is a fee of maybe $50 to change something, but it may be worth it to change depending on the deal. Have you registered your email address with the disney web site? I have gotten email codes from disney for specials on rooms or package deals. I went to Disney this past Sept, and got the free dining deal that was awesome. Also I watch the allearsnet.com website they post general public deals. Good luck & have fun on your trip.

When I booked our package, I asked the CM if a discount came out would I be able to apply it and she said that I could just call and they would adjust the price accordingly (no fee). Just keep checking this board. Everyone here will know first if/when a September code comes out!
