relatively speaking, i'm not sure i'd qualify it as a walking tour, particularly in comparison to what being in the parks during that time would entail. you do stand a lot, but you're bussed between locations in a coach.
Just a thought b/c I'm paranoid now, but I booked the Backstage Magic tour last week for the day after Memorial Day and so got caught up in all the phone mess of that weekend. But anyway, I used my Disney Visa and they did not give me my 20% discount - even though they said they did! (I just happened to check my credit card statement a couple days later and saw the wrong amount.)
Anyway, I called back and the first CM said I had to wait until the day of the tour to get a refund. Well, I didn't like that. So I called back the next day and got somebody better who tracked down a supervisor and helped me get my refund.
They noted that the "new" system was really screwing people up and even though CMs entered things properly, the system wasn't taking it. So check your cc statements when you do make them! Good luck!
Backstage Magic is only M-F I'm pretty sure. And only 1 time - 8:45 am at EPCOT b/c it is so long.
High tea at GF . . . it's been a while but I'm pretty sure that it is daily. I don't remember the exact hours, but it wouldn't start until mid-afternoonish -- at tea time!
