Booking a pkg then changing tkt options at checkin

We are thinking about booking a package through AAVacations as I work for American Airlines and I can get 10% off. I currently have a room only booked with my airline discount of 50% but I can only get the dining plan by booking the AAVacations package. My problem is the AAV package comes with a 6 day pass (it's a 6 night package) - if we decide when we get there we want to add a 7th day to our passes can we do that or are you locked in to the ticket you get through the package?

You might be locked in. I'm sure they'll give you a separate one day pass, but of course there will be no discount on that. Also, I think you may even have to buy that one day pass at the gate. I think the resort will only give out a minimum of three days.

My guess is that you can upgrade to a 7 day pass at the gate. Rumor has it that you would pay the difference between the 6 day gate price and the 7 day gate price.

Yea, as long as they are MYW tickets, guest services can upgrade the tickets for you for the difference of prices, from a 6 d to a 7 d + tax. You can have this done at the parks or your resort.
