Booking a package for longer than 14 days

Been lurking for a long time, and have finally decided to post as I cannot find an answer to my question. Whilst trying to get an idea of the package cost booking an extended stay online through Disney, I am getting the following message.
Your length of stay must be 14 days or less in order to add theme park tickets.
How does one book a package if they want to stay longer than 14 days?
We want to spend the first few days just looking around Disney property without even entering a park and figure 10 day tickets will be all we need.
Is there a way to book this? Or will it just be a case of getting the park tickets once on property?

you could try to book only your room then buy your ticket or you could try calling disney 1800 number or you could go through a travel agency just a few ideas

but I can see spending 2 days I would do maybe the first day at disney springs and then some time in the middle of your trip do different hotels/ the board walk you can always add ticket but you can give them back so it might be better for you to go with the fewest that you think you need and add them latter if needed.

In UK, you can purchase a 14-day ticket or 21-day ticket.

If you just want to buy 10-day tickets (which is fine) just book the resort "room-only" and buy your tickets separately.

In UK, you can purchase a 21-day ticket.

And some agencies will let you do any length of stay too.
