Booked Studio BCV for June 2016 would you change to BWV at 7 month mark?

So disappointed, we rented points from a friend to stay in BCV for June 2016 back in July 2015 when it seemed like BCV would be completed. Ha. Not even started. I was planning, praying, on being able to jump over to BWV at the 7 month mark if possible, as it sounds like these will be done in April 2016. Do you think this is a risky jump? Would you go elsewhere to stay? A refurbed room is VERY important to me!! We always stay YC Club Level but have my SIL with us this trip so were trying to be budget friendly and renting points....We have 3 teens in the party and will need 2 studios....ANy thoughts??? Wilderness Lodge was my backup but that now looks torn apart with a a pool addition or something....what a mess...

Iam having the same debate with myself! We LOVE BCV and stormalong bay...But those new rooms over at BWV are so tempting..BCV REALLY needs that refurb.

Just stayed at BWV and I must say they are beautiful. We got a refurb studio and it was very nice!!

Thanks we have stayed the last seven summers at yacht club bc we love storm along bay, my daughter will be 17 this summer and her interest is fading on the swim part so it isn't a must have anymore but a nice to have now. I would switch if I can if I know bwv would be completed by June. Ugh I rent points to try to help sister in law financially and I am the stressed one!!!

Spoke to construction supervisors last week at bwv in the elevator. I asked when the construction would be done. They said it should all be completed by April 2016. We are also struggling where to stay may 2016.

At least one of your teens is 18, right? Otherwise, an adult 18 or older must be in each room.

Strictly because of SAB. I like and own at both BWV, and BCV. I'm having a gals stay for F&G, not all my friends will have park passes for every day. We will use the resort pool, and so, I will stick with BCV.

Also, I bought in 2003 for a major birthday party for my mom. Before the party for which I reserved 1 2 bedroom and 4 studios for 5 nights, there were terrible reports here regarding BWV, where we had the reservation. Boy was I worried, but our villas were all great.

I believe the bad room reports, and I have never had such a bad room as have been described. I have had problems. I have decided to take my chances for the pool experience I really want.

We have just done this we switched from BCV to BWV Boardwalk view for our East 2016 trip due to refurb rooms at BCV.

Also my son decided he liked the clown pool better.
