booked GTY category...when do we get assigned?

We booked an AWESOME rate on a GTY...Verandah stateroom. I know that we're guaranteed to get that category or higher and I understand all that comes along with a GTY. The only thing I'm wondering, is when are those room assignments usually listed?

Is it a few days before? Week before? Longer?

There are different terms to discribe they types of GTY's vs VGT, OGT or IGT

If you booked a GTY it is usually betweem 50-55 days.

If you actually booked a VGT, IGT, or OGT they are assignet 10 days to the day of.

this summer i booked and paid for 2 cabins 7a guaranty through a ta. i already the same reservation on hold. both reservations were assigned cabins within 24 hours, including the one still pending payment! I have never seen that happen. rumor has it that early in the week is when assignments are made. but you just never know, keep checking your reservation. i am waiting on a VGT assignment myself, booked on Monday.
