Hi,
Got a great rate on a one bedroom executive suite at the Dolphin. We have a king bed room attached to a "palor" which has a king bed sico and a double bed pull out from the sofa. Two bathrooms along with a wet bar.

It was cheeper than booking two room and we seem to have more space.

Anyone stay in one of these rooms before? Only $299 plus tax a night.

Hi, when are you staying at the Dolphin? Do you know how many people the suite will hold??

Yes, I've stayed in one. Actually, we had a king on one side of the parlor, and a two-queen bedroom w/bath on the other. The parlor with the King sico bed is very large, has a counter, a bathroom, occasional chairs. We requested a frig and put it on the counter. We had cases of water, soda, cereal, and had plenty of room to store these. Lots of space, enjoy.

Thanks. So there was no fridge in the wet bar area?

Are executive suites eligible for the teacher discount? And does anybody have pictures? I'm very interested.

So a larger party can stay at the Dolphin? When I tried to check rates there I was told my family of 6 (1 under 3) was too large.

No frig--I had to request it. But, I would call them. I stayed there about 9 years ago. Things may have changed.:confused3

For a regular room you would be too big. If you click on the advertisement banner at the top of this page it will take you to the Swan Dolphin website which shows all of their current specials which include this great rate on the executive suite.

Thanks. Did they charge you extra for the frig? Do you remember what was in the wet bar area?

Usually note there is a general discount going on. Click on the add banner at the top of the page and all of their discounts are listed.

Yes, there is a gov/nurse/teacher rate for the suites.
For our May trip, I was quoted $149/nt standard + $10 resort fee + taxes, etc.
Total came to $170/nt. The Premium Studio was $250/nt. (with taxes and fee) and Exec Suite was $290/nt. The Premium Studio can have two "double" beds and a pull-out couch in a seating area. It is 600 sq ft., with one bath, two vanities, and a walk-in closet. The Exec Suite gets you the Sico bed, 800 sq. ft., and an additional bath and wetbar area.

Thank you for the info!:goodvibes I am really excited to see another option for a family of 6. A few more questions- Do the Premium Studios with the 2 double beds also hold 6? And, are these suites on club level??

I would say that if you have a double bed room attached to a palar to make up your suite that you could sleep 8. Four in the room and four in the palar area.

I was surprised when I looked into those suites that there is not a balcony. You would think a suite would have one.We are nowleaningtowards a deluxe for that reason.

You guys are the best. I never looked at the ad at the top of the page. I just booked a 2 bedroom suite at the Dolphin. A few years ago, we were upgraded to one because they were going to be doing construction in our wing. The kids loved it and didn't want to leave the room.

The cost of this is the $275 plus $119 for the additional room. This is great!!! Now I have to call back and see how many beds we actually got.:banana:
