Booked BWV studios this morning

I have been reading the boards about how hard it is to get a standard view at BWV during food & wine. We were down during the crazy jersey week/Veterans Day/Christmas party taping and really don't want to go that week again. We had a one bedroom that I realize is easier to book. This time we wanted 2 studios. I wasnt sure if I could get the standard studios or not, but resigned myself to booking fewer days with pool view. Fortunately for us we are arriving on Sunday at the end of food & wine so that may have made the difference and I was able to book 2 of the studios for 5 nights each!

Congrats! The week before Thanksgiving is usually an easy week to get, it's also a great time to go. I find it's less crowded than earlier in the month.

Thanks, we have gone this same week before, but weren't trying for BWV standard studio. I think it made a difference arriving on Sunday instead of Saturday. Nice to have another trip to look forward to with our family.

I also got a BWV standard bill for our F&W trip, right now I do not remember if it's a studio or 1 bedroom.

Good for you too! We just stayed in a studio for the first time a year ago when we went just the two of us. Now we thought why not book 2 studios even with our kids traveling with us instead of a 2 bedroom and save points so we can have enough points for a second trip later in the year.

Are your children older? If not, be sure to let MS to know that you want them as as close as possible and understand there is no guarantee they will do this. I traveled a few years ago and we had 3 studios at BWV booked. Two were across the hall from each other but the third one was way down.

Thank you, yes, I plan to ask for them to be close together - but know it's not guaranteed and we are fine if they are further away. They are old enough 16,21,22. We just prefer to be close for convenience.
