I keep reading that rising MFSR at night is a good idea, but I’d like to book a Fantasmic Dining Package since we’ll be there spring break and it’s going to be packed. What would you do? Thanks!
It surely doesn't matter if you ride Smuggler's Run in the day or the night. It's an inside ride. The experience will be the same. For me, I'd say book the F! Dining Pkg and enjoy SR during the day. JMHO

Oh. Well...then...who can answer that? Any given day, at any moment....there could be a crowd, or not. My Crystal Ball is on the fritz! Maybe Madame Leota has some insight!

You don’t need a crystal ball—you can see the trend and it had been veey predictable. Wait times have been consistently much lower in the evenings than during the day. If you will only be at HS one day I think riding MFSR in the evening is a great strategy. When we were there, the line for it was 90 minutes or more all day and dropped to 45 minutes around 6:30pm.
I would see what is more important. Fantastmic is a fantastic show and getting a dining package during a busy time would be good. However, we were able to walk on MFSR two different times during our recent December trip at the end of the evening. We really enjoyed Galaxy’s Edge at night. If I had to choose one and that is them only time to see Fantasmic, I would do the dining package.
