BOOHOO! Sleigh ride bummer! :(

I am sooooo sad; sorry I have to vent! I thought I finally had the perfect Christmas Eve planned for our family. It is our first time away from home for the actual eve & day of Xmas so I wanted to make sure things were perfect. I called and had everything all set up....breakfast at Chef Mickey's, lunch at Whispering Canyon, sleigh ride at 3:00, then over for a Candlelight Processional dinner package. For some reason, I just wanted to call today to make sure everything was all set given it was for Xmas Eve...didn't want any surprises. I got one Maybe this sounds dumb or little compared to other things....goodness knows I realize how lucky we will be to just be there for Xmas and how lucky I was to score all of those things for Xmas Eve, but when I called to confirm the sleigh ride at 3:00, the CM said that we were booked for 4:00!!! I remember the original CM telling me both were available, but I remember distinctly saying 3:00 as it was right after our lunch time and I knew I had to get over to CP soon thereafter...I never would have taken 4:00 because we would not have had the time to get over to Epcot in time for CP. So the CM today checked and there is absolutely no sleigh ride time available from the 21st through the 25th. URGH...I knew that would happen which was why I called IN ADVANCE. Bleah. Oh well.....anyone think that the sleigh ride may open up? I know...laughable! I checked to see if I could reschedule CP, but no luck given it is pretty much booked for that day, too.

Sigh....hope I don't sound petty, it is just frustrating. Thanks for letting me vent.

It's not petty. It would be a let down for anyone. What did you decide to do? I know about wanting everything to be perfect and you're right. You're very lucky to be there at all...but it would still be a let down. I hope you can work something out.

Yes, I feel better today Geez, I hate listening to myself whine..LOL. Anyway, we rebooked for after Xmas when it was not so busy and I figure hey!!! We will just extend that Xmas spirit! Nothing wrong with a sleigh ride on the 27th

Anyway, as of last night, I cancelled my 4 pm sleigh ride, so QUICK, call now if you need it....probably not available still, but it doesn't hurt to check!

Keep checking back with Disney and maybe something will open up for you at 3:00.Good Luck and have a magical trip I'm sure you're going to have some great memories that will last a lifetime.
