BOO TO YOU, SANTA!! A November 2012 PTR!-Upd 10/24,pg.14-#205 Costumes and T-Shirts!

Your so funny!!! I think being Disney obsessed means the kid is alive and kicking in your heart!

I rode the Sky Way once in 1997!!! It was SWEET! I miss it!

My DD's favorite ride at Epcot is Spaceship Earth! Weird kid, she LOVES the "Ball Ride".

AND TT w/Crush is a MUST after Nemo, they are kinda like one ride for us!

In Innoventions they have a ride that is 'The Sum of All Fears'.....you design and ride your own rollercoaster...must be 48inches...VERY cool. My Dh and DD love it!

Living with the Land is one of our fav's too!

Don't forget Club Cool and try the Beverly!!!

Only other things I love in Epcot are FOOD related!!

The Sky Way was awesome!! It is one of the very few things I remember from my first trip in 1979 when I was 5 (that and the Country Bears Jamboree). I also remember riding it in 1998 with my then boyfriend, now DH. We actually have that ride on video. I miss it too!!:sad1:

Circle of Life should join Stitch's great escape in the "plan to openly mock" category that ryels created. The American Adventure and Living with the Land should never sit in the same category with that "attraction".

IMO, The American Adventure and Living with the Land both need to move to the high priority category along with spaceship earth (our kids call it "the ball ride" too-they love it) And as for your "plan to skip" attractions, all I can say is it saddens me. :sad1:

Well on the preliminary touring plans I have made Circle of Life is litteraly the last attraction we would do at Epcot, so it is very much on the chopping block.

Thanks to your tip about seeing LWTL while people take turns riding Soarin' I think it will easily make the cut.

Are you sad that those movies are in my plan to skip category or that we will soon be bowing to our Chinese master?
:worship:

:rotfl: I am sad because they are in the plan to skip category! I really think they are worth seeing if you get a chance. you'll be glad you did :)

Well, we do have basically a whole day at WS so it is still possible we will catch one or more. It will kind of depend on how long the other things we do there take. :confused3

I think priority lists are a good thing but I bet you catch your high and middle and most of your lows. I mean you got 10days right!!! A few of the days we are there the crowd calendar shows 1's and 2's. I know that can change but I expect after halloween for it to drop off for a few dasy and be pretty low crowds like mon-wed. ;)

Well techinically we will probably only have 9 days in the parks, so we probably wont get to ride hardly anything. The only thing that worries me is Jersey Week being during most of our stay. Looking at last year's numbers (on touringplans.com) it was fairly busy from Wednesday on, but I'm hoping that picking the right parks should mitigate that. Do you use touringplans or easywdw to help with planning?

I agree wholeheartedly! I would spend an entire day sitting through Stitch before I would set foot in the Circle of Life again. I watched that monstrosity during our very first WDW trip (out of sheer ignorance) and I still regret it 14 years later. I can never recover that 15 minutes that I lost. :sad2:

And the movies are great, especially the Circlevision 360 ones. The only downside is that you have to stand up during those, but they are pretty short and very cool.

Plus, what better way than to get acquainted with our future Motherland?

And what about the F&W festival? I believe you will be there the last week of it. Will you be undertaking my "Eat the World Showcase" challenge (one food item from every kiosk)?

Thanks for your opinion on Circle of Life, I just wish it wasn't so wishy-washy. Would it kill you to be a little more direct?

As for F&W, I will not be taking your challenge, although I enjoyed your thread about it. We (and by we I mean I) are planning to horde snack credits and hopefully snack our away around WS. I doubt we will come close to hitting every booth, but we will certainly enjoy some of them. Do you know which booth serves the dancing bananas? Does Endor have a booth? I've always thought the Ewoks look delicious!:ewok: How about Vietnam? One of these would hit the spot: :dogdance: How about France? Does their booth serve these: :snail: (I could keep going, but I don't want to kill the bit anymore than I already have.)

The French kiosk does indeed serve :snail: ! And I plan on trying it. And don't forget that China serves :cat: (Sorry, too easy.)

I use Touring Plans BUT I don't actually USE a touring plan. I use the crowd calendar and per park crowd calendar. I don't feel it is necessary to use a touring plan when you have 10 days and the hopper. We always say we are going to do afternoons at the resort but we only do it once or twice. We tend to sleep in and go. I can't see getting up early on vacation only to go back and take a nap in the afternoon. ;)

I’m not quite ready to post my MNSSHP and MVMCP priorities yet, but in the mean time I thought I would share some pics of our recent Disneystore.com haul. As you may know they recently had a 25% off site-wide sale to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Disney Store. That 25% was in addition to any sale or clearance prices, so I thought it would be a good time to buy! So here is what we got:

Three shirts for DW:

$9:48
IMG_0067.jpg
$11:53
IMG_0066.jpg
$11.10

One shirt for me:

$9.90

Two shirts for DD:

$7.50
IMG_00611.jpg
$7.50

Two cups for DS:
IMG_00592.jpg
$3.75
IMG_00571.jpg
$3.75

Three figure sets for DD & DS:
IMG_00541.jpg
$7.50
IMG_00551.jpg
$7.50
IMG_00561.jpg
$3.74

A stuffed Kanga for DD:

$2.99

Two ornament sets for dear sweet 8 lb. 6 oz. baby Jesus:
IMG_0069.jpg
$3.74
IMG_0068.jpg
$3.74

With tax (thanks to having the worlds crappiest Disney Store located on the North side of Indy) and free shipping the total came to $100.29! Not too bad for fourteen items! Sorry if looking at any of these gave you taco neck. I tried to figure out how to rotate them in the system and got frustrated.:badpc: I could have rotated them and then re-uploaded them, but this is just a filler post anyway, so I figured half-assed was more than enough. I promise my next official post will be whole-assed or nothing at all!

That’s all for now, but I should have the party priorities up by Wednesday…

Nice job! I'm kind of annoyed that I didn't take the time to get some stuff during the big discount. That was a good deal. But having to drive 30 minutes to go to a weak Disney Store hinders me from doing it.

I just wish they would stop the whole mall-size Disney Store thing completely and open up just one awesome World of Disney in each major city in the country. Now that is something I would visit often.:cool1:

I agree. The one in Greenwood Park Mall was decent, but the one at Castleton Square is puny. I do love disneystore.com though. That said, I would never pay full price as there is sale about every other day. :smooth:

Very Cool!! You have very good taste, I have the first shirt you posted (I Love Mickey). Thanks for not posting a picture of the Christmas present you got me, I want to be surprised :cheer2:

As you can see, the cheapest item purcheased was $2.99 plus tax. That far exceeds my Christmas budget for you. :santa:

Am I follower #11??? not sure but we too are going from Oct 28 - Nov 11 in hopes of doing Halloween, Christmas, the Osbourne lights and my step-daughters birthday (Nov 9) I share your sons birthday of Oct 26 (although I have a few years on him ;) and now that I know its not too late to be wearing a birthday pin I may partake too. You are indeed #11! :welcome: to the team!! Between the dates coinsiding on our trips and you sharing a B-day with DS it seems you were destined to find this PTR!

I will admit that the second fanny pack is quite bit*hin, however I can still say with confidence that I will not be joining that club. :thumbsup2

We are from Indiana too! I have only read the first couple posts but I'm already cracking up:lmao:

Thanks for joining in and :welcome:!! It's always nice to have a fellow Hoosier, but what's up with the Bearcat name? Why not MrsHoosier, MrsFightingIrish, MrsJaguar, or MrsBulldog:confused3 ;)
