BOO TO YOU, SANTA!! A November 2012 PTR!-Upd 10/24,pg.14-#205 Costumes and T-Shirts!

Joining in! Just found your PTR tonight and it had me cracking up!! :rotfl:

We are also going to MNSSHP and MVMCP this year, however we are taking trips in Oct and Dec to do it. It would be so fun to get them both accomplished in one trip, but my dates just do not allow for it.

Cant wait to hear more! :thumbsup2

I have the hose hooked up and blankets ready.

At the very least, you will be dressed as "Fanny Pack Guy." Rumor has it that you were the only person at WDW wearing a fanny pack a couple weeks ago.

I can't tease too much, since I'll probably be wearing one too. :woohoo:

I was thinking something along the lines of a bright yellow tshirt with "Double Stroller Guy" in big black letters. I mean we do have some parades and fireworks to get to that night :rotfl: Then we have at least warned them we are coming.

Yep, no wet blankets in my bunch either. Right guys???

Put the hose down and give in! Imagine, if you just let your DW have her way, you could look as cool as this guy: pirate: Now if that's not badass, I don't know what is!

:welcome: to the team! Have you been to the parties in the past? I so what was your favorite activity?

So let me get this strait, he's down with wearing a fanny pack, but a costume or themed shirts is off the table?!? :confused3

In my eyes that would be about the same as saying: I don't care if you kick me in the groin, but I will not stand for being given an agressive handshake!

The fanny pack is really just the tip of the iceberg. Combine it with a lanyard filled with pins (with an attached badge holder stuffed with KTTW cards, of course) and Disney t-shirt that states something like "I'm Grumpy Because You're Dopey" or something along those lines, and you've got the pinnacle of Disney awesomeness. No costume needed:cool1:

No, we have never been to either of the parties. We are hoping to do 2 MNSSHP nights back to back in Oct and then 1 MVMCP in Dec.

I have heard amazing things about Hallo-wishes. Some have said its the best fireworks display Disney does. The MVMCP parade looks pretty neat too.

I can tell, you are all jealous. A costume just messes up my Disney aura and will not be tolerated. I am sure everyone who saw my Fanny pack and all this Disney awesomeness are rethinking there park attire for future trips. The reason it's hard to find Fanny packs in wdw is because there was a run on them the moment I entered the park. I am a walking billboard for Disney park touring functionality meets comfort with a stoke of absolute coolness that most park goers only hope to achieve. Therefore a costume that limits functionality and dare I say bad to the bone attire is just not an option. I don't see why any of you want to mess with park touring perfection. I would consider a costume that has a built-in Fanny pack, that's a bright protruding color of course, so as not to diminish my standing as ultimate park goer.

You too may be as cool as I am one today, but its not likely.

In honor of your love of fanny packs, and to keep this PTR from getting completely hijacked, I've created a fanny pack thread over on the Theme Parks board: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2877998

Go show your love for fanny packs!

I'm glad you decided to move this discussion to another board. I was getting worried that your description would upset the delicate sensibilities of the female followers. I would hate my PTR to be the catalyst for a broken marriage.

Perhaps you could go as Kanga. I doubt dressing as a stuffed female kangaroo would have any more impact on your street cred then the fanny pack does.

Not unless you are sporting a fanciful Fanny pack. See your husbands thread for ideas.

We are now officially calling them "waist satchels." I hear they are all the rage in Europe. All the cool people wear them.

Still don't think I will be rocking a "waist satchel," but I am considering outfitting the family with "waste satchels" to cut down on bathroom trips.

I had a similar idea, but I was going to call mine the "Port-a-Chamber Pot." But "waste satchel" has a better ring to it. I like it!
