Okay, I just looked back and realized what a slacker I have been!
The last week I posted a picture was in July and now I am 3 weeks late...so without further ado, I bring you weeks 17, 18 and 19....

Oh, and my countdown says 2 months til our vacation...I think it's messed because it was 2 months on Tues...it's probably right, it's probably counting the days and not the weeks...but I don't have to like it!

Sunday was my birthday. Why the angry face you ask?
Well, I am not liking the new number that I have to say when someone asks my age. Seriously...I really don't know why I am having such a hard time with this one, but I am. I'm a lucky woman, I have two beautiful daughters and a great husband and they all love me. I have a job that I like, friends, extended family that I love. I just need to get over it, I think.

We celebrated my birthday all through the weekend. Sat we went to the Buffalo Irish Festival with my brother, sis-in law and their baby. It was great, but HOT!!! Ferb got me The Hunger Games on blu ray since I love it so much. My parents got me an icard which I got to pick out which retailer I could use it on...got gift card Regal Cinema..love going to the movies! And the popcorn! Then on Sunday just the four of us went to my favorite beach for the afternoon and I just laid in the sand in the water and baked! It was lovely. And then we went out for Sushi for dinner!
Then on Monday we went to Darien Lake theme park and got rained on...but it was still a good day surprisingly. The only problem was we kept thinking about WDW while we were there...not a good idea.

I had to work Monday night and last night I attended a Disney Destinations seminar that was held for our company Expedia CruiseShipCenters. It was fun and we got little gifts..I got a stuffed Goofy! It's the little things isn't it?

So, now I am heading to my parents to drop off the girls. They are taking them to the Zoo and then sleeping over so Ferb and I can go on a date belatedly for my birthday. I think we will be going to see The Bourne Legacy. Ferb really wants to see Dark Knight, but it's MY birthday date so we will go see the hottie in The Bourne Legacy! Poor Ferb!

I am hoping to get on here later today to do a proper update...with pics!! I need some help with that from my IT dept...Ferb. I'm having a hard time with my camera SD card... yep, that's me when it comes to technology! Until later, here is an attempt to link a pic from my Facebook page of my niece at the Irish Fest...

Love the picture of your neice! And what a great caption! Sounds like you have had a great time celebrating your birthday! We went to the local Rainforest Cafe, the Disney Store and the Nashville Zoo for my birthday...I spent the day imagining I was at Animal Kingdom!

Well, the girls are fully ensconced in school for their second day. First day back went really well. No big issues getting ready in the morning...I'm not sure if I ever posted it on this PTR, but Stitch has ADD and mornings and afternoons are the worst times...afternoons are much better due to her time release meds, but mornings can be harrowing because her pill hasn't had a chance to work. Anyways, yesterday went well..

I had to catch up on some sleep yesterday so I didn't get a chance to start these longer posts then....but I am good now! We enjoyed our vacation this summer as I told you..but I now have the ability to post some pics and time to write a little bit about it...finally...

We stayed in a great house in the Adirondack mountains in upstate NY. It was my parents, my Brother, Sister in law, my niece (one year old), and the four of us. The house was just big enough for all of us. There was access to the lake on one side where there was a canoe for us to use:

And then a short walk up the road past a couple of properties to the beach access:

We had a great time, weather was great til the last two days which was fine as we needed to pack up and had plans for a day at the Adirondack Museum as well. We cooked over the fire a couple times, we had campfires each night....marshmallows, smores, games and LOTS of beer!. Good times!

We then left the Adirondacks on Sat morning and met up with my cousin and her daughter on the highway and the girls and I got in her car and drove down to Virginia to visit our Aunt and Uncle. We were lucky with our timing because our cousins that moved to Vegas and NYC were visiting with their kids as well. There were 7 kids and 5 adults all total in one house..thankfully my Aunt and Uncle have a huge house. It was a great visit....one that I hope we can do each year! The kids all had a fantastic time together! Most of us slept together in one huge great room and lots of hair braiding and story telling went on that week!

We left there and headed home on Wed...long drive home, but it was well worth it to be able to have those memories!

This is my second attempt at this post this morning...don't enjoy the computer when it locks up on me!!

Okay, if I recall correctly I said more or less this in the first attempt:

We are at 47 days out and I am going to rehash our daily plans. Why? Because it makes me happy!

I have been making daily plans using Ridemax and Touring Plans, not that we need them, but we always used to hoard FP's all day and use them at night and now with enforcement of return times I thought a plan might be helpful. So, using those as our guide here are our daily plans..beginning with our travel day!

Day One
Monday Oct 22

Our Jet Blue flight is direct out of Buffalo and leaves at 10:10 AM and arrives in MCO at 12:43. The plan is to split up once we debark and Ferb will go with the girls to get the luggage while I go down one more level to deal with the car rental. This worked well in Oct last year and Jan of this year with us finishing up at the same time and meeting by the elevators ready to go pick out our car! We will head straight to WBC even though our room will most likely not be ready, although you never know. But we plan to swim and soak up the much needed Florida sun!

Bonnet Creek has awesome pools!!

At some point we will grab lunch, maybe poolside at WBC?
Hopefully we will be in our room by 4 so we can go shopping at Walmart for supplies and food for the week. Then our dinner ADR is at 6:45 at Raglan Rd!!! Love me some Irish music and dancing!!

This is our arrival night tradition that we missed out on in Jan due to the discovery of BED BUGS!!

We will have to go pick up our YES tickets and MNSSHP tickets while we are at DTD, but then it's off to sleep for our first big park day the next morning!!
