Bongos

Has anyone had lunch at Bongos? If so, did you enjoy your meal? Is it OK for kids (7 and 9 y.o.)? Are you able to have lunch there w/o a reservation?

I've never had lunch at Bongo's. However, if you feel it's a bit loud and sort of adult-oriented for your kids, there is a take-out window in the back of Bongo's, with much of the same food you can get in the sit-down restaurant. We usually get this at least once every trip.

I didn't know about the take-out window at Bongos. I love this site! We'll have to stop there next trip. DSs have no desire to eat there.

I had the best fruit salad of my life at Bongos. My DH is a meat and potatoes guy but when he saw my salad he wanted to trade his steak for it. It was that good. It was a late lunch. Very enjoyable. We like Bongos. We did not have reservations and we walked right in.

We've done lunch there a couple of times--walked in, no PS--when they opened at 11:00. Never really got crowded while we were there. I didn't find it overly loud, but I hear it can be VERY loud at night.
I see no problem taking your kids.
