Interested in eating there next week as we love Cuban food, would you recommend it?

I'm hispanic and went there several times over the years. The first time I went everything was great. 2 years later I went and it was so-so. I went in 2002 and the food was not good. I had the white rice, black beans and pork chops with tostones. The best part of the meal was the tostones, enough said. Their cuban sandwiches are still good (they originally served them with Mariquitas but now only with french fries :sad2: ), I always have one on each trip, you can get it on the Express Cafe side, their coffee was very good also, real cuban cafe con leche. But for the sit down restaurant, I would look elsewhere. I had a chance to have a quick dinner at Latin Quarter (rice and black beans with a Cuban sandw.) over in Citywalk and it was very good. Their express cafe side (that is only open during the day while the restaurant is closed) has empanadas con carne or queso, rellenos de papa and medianoches which are very good also. HTH :cool1:
