Bongo's, Paradiso 37 or House of Blues

I haven't been to Bongos or Paradiso 37 but have been to House of Blues. We really enjoyed it. We've been to a few other House of Blues restaurants in other cities and thought the one in DTD was comparable. It's a good choice if you like cajun food and Blues/rock music. They have live music so I would check the schedule online to see if anyone that you like is playing during your trip. I've only been for lunch and dinner, but I hear the gospel brunch is really good.

Having only been at HoB, I can say that it is an excellent choice! It was my favorite meal of my last trip - shrimp and grits...yum! Everything from the service to dessert was great and I can't wait to go back.

We ate at Bongos this month. It was not bad, but not memorable either. It was fine. Loved the plantains!

The six os us in my party didn't care for Paradiso 37 so I would steer you away from it. Though Paradiso 37 from now until October I believe is offering 20% off if you show a Disney Visa...maybe an indicator that others feel the same away about the place as I do and they are trying to drum up business.

WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE Paradiso 37!!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 The food there is excellent as is the service. We were just there earlier this month (on Cinco de Mayo) and had a great table on the front patio (great "people" watching seat:lmao:).

It was just 14 yr old dd and I (and she always asks to go there too!) Never had a bad meal there.:thumbsup2

Thanks for the review of Paradiso 37. We are trying it for the first time on our next trip.

We have done Crossroads at House of Blues at Disneyland and loved it. Used a restaurant.com certificate buy $50 get $100. We are going to try it in Disneyworld in June with another restaurant.com certificate.

Just a little tip. You can exchange expiring airline miles for restaurant.com certificates. It is a nice way to not let them go to waste!
