I hope all of you are warm and cozy! today in Chicago we finally have a snow storm!! tom is making his famous Buffalo Chicken wraps and I have time to finally RE-POST my last update.. really really weird!!
Here we go AGAIN!!
*A side note (as I am typing this for a SECOND time my laptop decided to reboot itself! What?!?! Am I not supposed to continue?!?!*
All the little ones (maybe some big ones) fell asleep on the way back to POR. we had to wake up most of our Dis-Family to get off the bus for the walk back. Pleasantly surprised we didn't have a tantrum!!! WOO HOO! Matt Zack and Meg PASSED out as soon as they walked through the door. I believe DH did too..
Our next morning i again was the first one awake! GEESH. (Feeling still a little woosie.)
had to pretty much set off the fire alarm to get the rest of the bums up and ready and out the door FOR ROPE DROP!
As we were walking into Riverside mill i hear 'MARCO' immediately i yell 'POLO' YES!!! it's Noladisneymom!!!! i was so excited to see her!!! Felt horrible for her because she really wasn't feeling well.. We were able to chit chat for a couple of minutes with her and her husband, before we had to get going. I really wish we had more time or even met up for a drink.. anything! I was happy we finally were able to meet her and her husband!
After a quick breakfast we were on our way to the mighty Magic Kingdom!

flashback... 2010! we were walking past the Pirates league and just walked up and asked if the three of them can do it! THEY COULD!!! i didn't know much about the pirates league i didn't do much research on this. Now that i know it was amazing we were able to get in there!!! as we were getting ready. Matt chickened out.. Meg and Matt were the only ones. WE FELL IN LOVE WITH IT!!!
So this year we had to do it again! since Nicole and her family never did it it was a first for them!
I have to say here Gina Marie and Ken are AMAZING. Last year Zack was a bit nervous about the whole thing and didn't know what to expect. As any Mom would you step in and tell him it's ok nothing to worry about blah blah... not even realizing what she did until after... she swooped in pretty much pushed me to the side and made Zack laugh and feel right at home!! cannot say enough about her and Ken!!!
No she was not rude she didn't actually push me to the side she just took control of the situation like i said i didn't even realize she did it until we were home and watching the home movies!!! ha ha ha!

Of course this year when making the reservations i HAD to have Ken and Gina Marie again!!! you can request them but you are not guaranteed you will get them. once we get there Zack and Matt, joey and Lil Matt (Meg has another appointment) were ready! ARG..
some pixi dust has finally come upon us. WE GOT GINA MARIE AND KEN!!!!

once we had our Pirate Names it was time to be TRANSFORMED!

Another GREAT year of pirating!!! We will definitely do this again!!!After the Oath and they were all announced as Pirates, their new Pirate Names, and given new buttons with their nw names it was time to go into the secret room... cant tell you much here. I also had to give my word...

Can't believe the problems i had posting that! Crazy...

Lil Matt is 3. he did WONDERFUL. the Pirate who did his makeup was awesome with making Matt feel comfortable enough to let her put his makeup on too. I know they have lesser makeup options. if i ever have the time to look up how to post a video i will do it for you to show your kiddos! Plus throughout the park everyone interacts with the kids being pirates. it's an ongoing adventure!
The experience is so worth it. they all interact it's like a little show. they have ME cracking up!!! Zack also walked away with a 'spongebob' a square yellow makeup applicator.. but it was spongebob to them!!!
I will go back every year if the kids no longer want to i might make DH and i do it!!!

If i didn't know about the pirate league i would probably look at the adults a little odd. BUT becuase i have seen it done twice now i can absolutely understand!! So much fun!!! Love it when they interact with each other too..

Good News! Meghan and I are having a Mother Daughter day!!!
I bought tickets for the Princess on Ice i believe it is called Dare to Dream?!?
VIP seats! Yeah i splurged..
Going in February i can't wait. Tom said he would take the boys to a monster truck rally... for a Father Son day.. While looking at all the upcoming shows i see Disney will have a celebrating 100 years?!?! wonder how that will be? LOVE that we can still get a little bit of Disney!!!

HELLO out there!
I hope i haven't lost too many of you..
It is now January the snow is here, it’s COLD and what better way to get some warmth is get back to this trip report. I have been dragging my feet way too much.
The technology gods must be angry. Every time I try to post and preview I lose my wireless connection. I am really trying to get this report done… I had to move to word to get my thoughts and NOT lose what I am trying,
We left off finishing up the pirates league. Again Best money spent.
It was time for Meghan to get all gussied up! On the path back up MAIN STREET (i could walk this all day..)

We have never done the Harmony Barber shop and we again LOVED IT! Plus you can’t beat the price. While we were there Nicole and i wanted in on the fun.. We also had our hair done!!!

i had no idea what it really looked like. Honestly i didn't care!!! i had MORE compliments from people!!! whether they were just being nice or making fun i have no idea i still had fun with it! The girls doing the hair warned me about the purple and pink may or may not come out. again i didn't care.

i didn't mind the sitting..

he was going to have the mickey head pained on but the girls said it would have just ran off with the heat!

while we were waiting we saw the Move it shake it parade a couple of times:
