Bon Voyage breakfast - first FP at HS

We have a 7:40 reservation for the Bon Voyage breakfast at Boardwalk. Wondering what time I should make our first FP for at HS that day? Not sure how the boat runs, how long the walk would be, how long the breakfast will take given it's new, etc. TIA!

Since the FP window is one hour, you should be good with anytime after 9 am for your first one, but you might want to start around 9:15-9:30 for a little added buffer. I tend to allow about 1 hour for a character meal that early in the morning.

I cannot remember the boat route, but I would estimate 15-30 minutes for the boat and about 10-20 minutes for walking depending on speed.

We have a 7:45 reservation for Bon Voyage and our first Epcot FP is at 9:25-10:25 in Future World.

The Friendship Boat takes about 25 minutes, whereas the walk to DHS takes 15-20 minutes depending on your speed. The length of breakfast depends, but I always plan for a character meal to last at least 60 minutes. If it were me, I'd book the first FP+ for 9:45-10:45 am.
