Boma without ressie?

Any chance that we can show up at Boma without a ressie and get in?

We're looking at Sat, Sept 6th - ~6pm...

I doubt it! If you know when you would like to go, I would definitely go ahead and make the reservation.

I just checked the online ADR system, and the only Boma time I could find close to 6 was at 4:45!

If you want to go, make your ressie now!!!

Whenever we have gone to Boma (3 times) it has been very crowded. In fact, even with a reservation (which we always have) we find it to be one of our longer waits.

I would'nt bank on it either.... maybe if you were shotting for an off time like 4pm or much later but an ADR for prime dinner slots is hard to come by. You may end up waiting for a LONG time.

I had a feeling that was the case...

I did just get lucky and got a ressie at Sanaa for that night and time!!!!!

Now it's been awhile, October 2006, to be exact. We were staying at the AKL, and we were driving. I was unsure of when we'd arrive, so I didn't make an ADR. We got to the resort right at check-in time, got our room, got settled, and walked around a bit. We went down to Boma and asked if there was any availability. We had to wait about 30 minutes, but we got in. It was crowded, and the food was delicious.

We have been able to get in earlier with ressies but this was eating after 7pm. You are hitting free dining period.

How big is your party? I just looked at the online site (8:29 pm) and would have been able to get a party of 4 for 6:15 - did not book it, I was just curious to see how bad it was that weekend
