boma or kona?

wlwe have to choose one of them. which should we choose?

Where will you be that day and how many times have you been to WDW? If transportation is not an issue, definitely Boma. The food is really good for a buffet, the variety excellent and AKL is an attraction itself. Unless you are on the dining plan, you can eat at Kona much cheaper however.

I second the Boma for dinner, and Kona for breakfast!!!

I may be in the minority here but I would choose Kona over Boma. We stayed at AKL back in 2010 and decided to try Boma one of the nights. The only person who actually enjoyed it was DH (albeit he isn't a picky eater at all). Myself and my two DD's just didn't care for the flavors of most of the food there. As for Kona, we truly enjoyed our dinner there and thought everything was excellent.

Such a hard choice! I would pick Boma for dinner and Kona for breakfast.

If my husband chose, it would be Kona. Their Tonga Toast, YUM! I love both for breakfast so it would be hard to choose. My husband got sick after eating at Boma. Our last night at WDW. It was a bummer. But my kids and I loved it!

I'm planning on eating at both of these on my next trip (a split stay involving both Poly and AKL) but have had such a hard time deciding between breakfast and dinner at both places that I finally gave in and just decided to do both meals at each!

Another vote for Boma -- it's unique among all the WDW buffets, and the food is great!

I would say Boma. Boma for dinner is a must-do for us.

We've had dinner at Kona too but we just didn't find it to be that great. The food was fine, but the meal was rushed. The servers were taking orders and clearing their own tables. It made for a hectic atmosphere where you really couldn't relax.

Boma, it's an experience like no other. I prefer the breakfast. The food is unique and something you won't find elsewhere. Couldn't stop heading back to the buffet!

Boma is a wonderful breakfast....our favorite on all of Disney property. We feel that Kona is overrated and really not a big deal. We tried the Tonga Toast and while it was good, it was not that big of a deal.

I actually like Kona Cafe better, the coffee and stuffed French toast...best breakfast at Disney.
