DW and I plan on having a no kids dinner during our trip. I know Jiko is signature and looks very nice but I do like the different variety Boma offers. Any suggestions or recommendations? Thanks!!

I don't think you can really go wrong with either, but for a romantic kid-less evening, I would recommend Jiko. The atmosphere is wonderful and it's really a "special" kind of place. If you are heart-set on the variety of Boma then you should definitely go for that though! Just know it is still a buffet and could be a little louder/less romantic. We love the food there as well!

Love Boma. Best buffet on property and we've never been disappointed. But for date night? I still remember our first time at Jiko to celebrate an anniversary. Perfect.

The best meal I've ever had was a Jiko. Best food, best server. . .

We are doing an adults only trip this august. Boma is one of our favorite places and it is our top buffet. This trip is it is just us we decided to splurge and go with Jiko. It looks amazing and have only heard good things about it.

If you decide to go with Boma, I'll offer one important tip, as one who's been there going on 20 times now - SMALL PORTIONS!
Take a little bit of as many different dishes as you can. Try several salads, several soups, and several main dishes. You can always go back and get more of the things you really like. (But save room for . . . . . . several desserts!)
And another important tip - when going back, you don't have to get in the long line at the beginning before the carving station. You can go straight to the pod you're interested in. There may be a short line at each pod, and of course we want to be aware of everyone coming in from other pods, but it's all too easy to see that first long line and just assume you have to wait in it.

No trip to WDW would be complete without our ADR at Jiko..Out of the seven signature restaurants we have tried at Disney, Jiko is our number one...Got our ADR for October this year..

We also love Boma, and have done it a few times now with our kids. For a "date night" though, I'd lean towards Jiko. Boma has tables that are very close together, and tends to be loud with everyone getting up and down all the time to fill their plates. We've only visited Jiko for the wine tastings, so can't attest to the food (though we keep saying we're going there for dinner sometime without kids!), but would still think a nice quiet dinner where we could talk would be more what we're looking for.

Jiko, my favorite behind CA Grill at all of DW. Forget the Buffett if it's a date night! Wine selection is incredible too!
