I was thinking of taking my Mom to Boma's for Mom's Day, will my DD 8 and DS 5 like it? Any suggestions are appreciated and thanks in advance.

we went in june 2002 for dinner at Boma and the couple next to us had two kids approx age same as your kids and the they seemed to enjoy it
there is enough there that i think even the most finicky kid will find something

The first time we tried BOMA's, I wasn't sure my 5 yr old DD would like the food. She had heard about Simba's Clubhouse and wanted to try it, so while we had dinner at BOMAs, she went to Simba's Clubhouse (for one hour). She got to choose her own dinner - hotdog, ff, choc milk - and she had a lot of fun coloring with markers, playing games, and watching movies. (There were only about 5 other kids there during the time she was there).

While we dined, I noticed they had lots of food she would eat - including a kids section with mac and cheese, chicken nuggets, french fries, etc.

We've been back about three or four times since then - BOMA's is a family favorite and definitely on our to-do list!!! Allison has dined here several times and really enjoys it! There is always something for her to eat - she even ate BBQ ribs - and the desserts are great too! We all love the Zebra Domes!

Go and enjoy!!!

My son first tried Boma when he was 8. It's one of his two favorite restaurants at Disney World. The other being 'Ohanas at the Polynesian.

He doesn't even eat off the kids buffet. My son loves Sausages and the many variety they offer on the regular Buffet.

You should have no problem with your children there. There is a lot of variety on the Buffet.

Enjoy your trip!

My girls (11,7,4) whom I call very picky eaters really like Boma's. They are basic mac and cheese girls but ventured out at Boma's for both breakfast and dinner.

They loved the different Hummus' and pita bread chips, salads, and of course the spaghetti and chicken fingers at the
kids area. For breakfast they loved the "frunch" and cereal and sweet rolls. They also like the omelets although they werre too big for them to eat all!!

Enjoy!

just back
'went to boma with my 2 & 3 yo
they loved it--mostly the fact that we walked around the beautiful lodge and they got to see the animals eating dinner

Thanks everyone! I made my PS arrangements today-so we will try it out, can't wait! ;)
