Boma breakfast

Do you need reservations for breakfast at Boma? I have one, but am wondering if I should make another for the morning we leave to go home. We are staying at AKL and it would be a convenient place to eat.

Best policy is to assume that you always need a reservation at a Disney TS restaurant. Anything is possible and you might be able to walk-up, but if you already know you want to eat there, why chance it?

We were at AKL the week of Thanksgiving. Most mornings we walked right past Boma on our way to Mara for breakfast. It was always very busy and there were people in the waiting area. I would do an ADR just to be safe.

We did Boma breakfast the morning we left. We actually were disappointed in it. The African dishes didn't appeal to us, so all we really ate was the "normal" breakfast items. I would have been just as happy at Mara for a lot less money. I'm glad we tried it because we always wanted to based on reviews, but we probably won't do it again. Just not for us. We still love Boma dinner though!

We ate at Boma twice for breakfast on our last trip and enjoyed it both times. We had a reservation for both, but our second reservation was only made the night before and we it in no problem. It was quiet when we were there but we ate early (around 7:30ish). I would still make an ADR to be on the safe side.

I had no problems making a late reservation for Boma during Easter week, when I called on Wednesday afternoon - looking for Friday morning. If you don't make your reservation now, you should still have some availability if you call when you get there.

This is our fav place to eat so I say make em....if you go super early when they first open it is not busy at all but later, after 9am it is packed
