BOMA ADR - What time??

What is a good time for a dinner ADR @ BOMA following Animal Kingdon park closing for the day? Need estimates on travel time... Can do the looking around the resort after the meal. Does anyone know about the night vision glasses to see the animls? I thought I saw that you could use them @ one on the restaurants...

Ooooh, I would like to know about this as well....we have an ADR for Boma for next Tuesday. Would love to know about the night vision glasses....where do you get them?

If you are staying until the park closes, give yourselves time to get out of the park, walk to the bus, and maybe a 10 minute wait for the bus. If you give yourselves about 30-35 minutes before your ADR you should be in good shape. The night vision goggles are available from the guides who are stationed around the viewing area. Don't know exactly what time they bring the goggles out for use--if it has to be completely dark or not. Enjoy Boma. It's a favorite of my family. We'll be there Tuesday!

We've planned an ADR at Boma for 7:00 pm on May 10th...hoping we hit the timing about right after the park closes what with the "mass exodus" factor and whatnot...plus Grandma's not too fast on the ole feet! Very interested to hear about the night vision glasses... I always thought they put the animals to bed for the night...??? silly me! Have a great trip!

I made our first ADR for 5:30 on our AK day; it was 30 mins after the park closed. We left way ahead of closing, though, (about 4pm) and it took 15 minutes or so to get to AKL. We wandered around for a while, then we went--early--to Boma, and had no wait. Worked great.
