Bolero / Shrug

Hi girls,

I was at my friend's wedding this weekend, and got quite chilly later on with our UK weather, so I'm on the hunt for something to cover my shoulders / arms for our UK reception in November now, as it got me realising how cold I could get!

I think I'm after something faux furry, possibly with long sleeves, in ivory. I'm hoping to find something online as I'm sure bridal shops will be expensive and have limited choices in stock, can anyone recommend where I start?

These guys have some really nice items and the prices are good too.

I tried a fur stole/wrap with my dress in the bridal shop to see what it looked like and the price was extortionate!

I got a plain one at David's Bridal and had it trimmed in fake fur, but I don't know if you have David's in the UK. However, my inspiration picture was from a UK designer!

I'd dig up the info for you, but the price was ridiculous, hence my creating my own. However, you can find lots of boleros/shrugs in fake fur or trimmed in fake fur on ebay.

Just a suggestion - debenhams sometimes have items like that. Especially as the Christmas stock is starting to come in (Saw it in my local debenhams on Saturday!) You might find something similar to what you're looking for? It can be hit and miss though! But might be worth a look.
