Boggy Creek Airboats or Gatorland??

I've done both and I think it depends when you are going. Boggy Creek can be chily in the winter months. Gatorland is really neat.

Two good attraction choices. Tough to pick, because the experiences are totally different!

There is a lot more walking at Gatorland, so that might be worth considering depending on who is in your travel party.

Gatorland is more touristy and "theme parky" while an airboat is much more focused on the natural "real" Florida.

Gatorland has a lot of stuff specifically geared for the littles (a petting zoo, train ride, splash pad, etc.) if you happen to be traveling with kids.

An airboat ride will take about an hour (plus travel time) where you could easily spend a half day at Gatorland.

You should see gators at both, but I guarantee you will see more gators at Gatorland (and a larger variety of them.....including a couple of spectacular white gators) than you will on an airboat ride.

Honestly, if you have a whole day at your disposal, I'd absolutely suggest you do both! One in the morning, the other in the afternoon.....and have one heck of a Gator Day.

And just as an aside......Gatorland has a FABULOUS night tour called the Gatorland Night Shine. We did this tour on our trip earlier this month and it was easily one of the highlights of our vacation. I cannot say enough about how freakishly awesome it was to experience the park after dark with just flashlights to light our way into the swamp. Feeding the gators at night and seeing their eyes glow orange in the inky blackness of the night was something we will never forget! If you have a free evening, I would highly recommend this tour.

Ended up in gatorland today and had a great time!!! Kids got up close and personal and it will be a long lasting memory!

What was your experience with COVID safety precautions at the park? I was looking to go down for a relatively inexpensive trip on Presidents' Day weekend next month, but another thread convinced me that the Sea World parks are really horrible as far as guest compliance with masks and distancing, so we've had to scrap that idea. Disney is too expensive (and probably too crowded) for this trip, so I'm looking for alternatives. I long to be warm and have fun, but COVID is one souvenir I don't want to bring home.

Signs were posted, seemed like most people were wearing masks, there were sanitizer stations all over. We personally felt fine, but everyone has their own thoughts on this.
