BOG new test lunch res online?

Love Disboards
I am still completely confused but I think I was finally able to get a fast pass reservation for BOG. I have a room only reservation at POP that only has numbers for the conf.# and that actually worked. Thought of trying that after reading some of your posts.

Does anyone know how to fix the "guest is already registerd" error? Our reservation is in my husbands name(who does not have a mde acct). When I try to use my email with his info, it says guest is already registered. My FIL does have an acct and they have the same name(JR. and III). I am so confused on what to do :confused3

I have the same problem. I called and spoke to the MDE IT dept today. They told me that I have to go to Guest Services at MK to make any changes to my reservation. Not very helpful.

I am having the 'guest already registered' problem as well. According to IT there was an email sent out and the number to contact for help would be in it.

I called 407-939-7849 (IT), so it's not this number.

Anyone get an email invite for BOG?

In September I went for on a fass pass to BOG. Now I want to go in December but I keep getting this message. Can you only go once. Has anyone gone twice

Thank you for participating. Please try again later. If you continue to encounter this message, you can seek further assistance at the Lobby Concierge desk at your Walt Disney World resort or upon arrival at the Be Our Guest restaurant.

That's the same error we all get. It just means it is not opened yet.

I leave in two weeks......been trying to get a lunch reservation for MONTHS!!! Every time I try to log in I get that message above:confused3. So I don't think that's the case....

I called their IT tech line and was told that I cannot make a reservation unless I have been specifically invited to do so, but the resort concierge can do it for us when we arrive at WDW.

So that's what we plan to do.

In IT you always have a canned response even if you KNOW that's not quite the case.

Currently the system is open to anyone with a valid room reservation. But the canned response to BOG FP+ and MDE (bands and FP+) is you need to be invited in order to apply.

If you talk to IT and they feel you have a good understanding in exactly what's going on, they'll 'give out' more info.

They added December checkins to MDE. But apparently bands and FP+ only become available at 60 days. I called and asked and at first I got the canned "by invitation" response. Then they confirmed that it would start at 60 days. In my case, today I started getting the popup message to customize bands, however once selecting that it would say it's not available at the time.

Weird question - we'll be at WDW in a few weeks and my local SIL and BIL will be joining us for our MK day, but since they aren't staying in a resort they don't have FP+. If I do the FP+ and preorder our food including extra for them, will we all be able to get in and get a table for 6 vs 4?
Thanks!

I'm afraid not. Just like an ADR, your FP+ reservation will be based on the chairs at the table. In other words, they've reserved a table with four chairs for you, not six. And with a restaurant as difficult to get into as BOG, they're not very likely to accommodate two extra guests on the spot. Your SIL and BIL can give it a shot, but I'm thinking they'll most likely have to wait in the standby line.

Hi guys! Yesterday in my excitement to see if i could get in to BOG, I put in the reservation number for my POP room which is one night because my AoA had letters in it - now I have the Aoa number without letters but it doesn't show me any place to put in a new number....does anyone know how I can do this?

so frustrating because I only have on day at pop and therefore only one day for BOG and it is not the day that we are going to want :(

Has anyone been able to eat their twice for lunch with fastpass. I hope so. I ate their in sept but would love to do it again in early december.

But even if they did that (and got in line early enough to eat at the same time as us) we still wouldn't be able to sit together? Or if we did the FP+ without the preorder, just the shorter line and they did the regular line?

We showed up for our FP+ with an extra and she was accommodated no problem. We had not pre-ordered our food, so we were all sent in to order together. It worked out very well. Just ask at the podium when you check in.

I did a quick look through this thread, but didn't read the whole thing...forgive if this has been asked before....

I made a ressie through the BOG Lunch website, and got a FP+ for Nov. 30. I didn't receive a confirmation number (read on the DIS that was normal), so I took a picture of the confirmation page on my phone so I could recall it later. It doesn't show up on my MDE in any way (I was also told that was normal). Now I would like to alter the ressie, either changing the time, or even the date. I go to the BOG website and it shows all of my log in information, but it won't let me log in. The log in button stays grey... I tried to close the page and reopen, even on another computer, but I can't get in to the site.

Any thoughts on what this means or what I should do? Wondering if my ressie even still exists… ??

Try clearing cookies or use another browser. Don't call Disney IT they will tell that the BOG FP+ is a test for invited guests only.

Thank you!!! :flower3: I'll sure try that! (I'm an old, non-techie grandma...it may take a bit! :lmao:)

I even made our meal choices... I hope it's still there! :upsidedow

Same thing happened to me, so I printed out the page with the information on it, window time, etc and plan on just bringing that with me. It doesn't show up on MY Disney Experience either. Just show them your phone pix when you get there. IT told me it will not show up on MDE website because it is a separate test just as OP stated in their comment. If you have it in print or on your phone with a window time to arrive, I am sure they will honor it. Good luck. We go in six days and will post my experience.

:thumbsup2 Great! Thanks! I am so glad I took that picture (gotta love the DIS)! I am still trying to figure out that "cookie" thing... :scratchin

Have a great time!! Only 6 more days for you! :goodvibes
