BOG new test lunch res online?

We were invited by email to fp+ test the BOG lunch. We did it twice. The 2nd time, for some reason they charged our room rather than our DDP credits. We had to have guest services at our resort (Poly) fix it. While getting it fixed, the CM was asking how we liked the lunch, etc and it came up that we were invited to use the fp+ for it. She told us that the resort could schedule it also.

I don't know if that's only at the resorts where fp+ testing is happening or if it was only for those who got the invites, but it's worth a shot to check with your resort!

I would get on line no later then 10:15 or so for lunch; I saw them cutting the line off at 2 pm but getting on right before that would have at least a 40 to 60 minute wait from what I could judge. I am thinking the only reason you can't do a BOG reservation now is that your date(s) are too far out.

My check-in is only 10 days away! When I first saw this, I tried to log in and add a reservation. My confirmation # has letters in it, so I used the # from my DME tags. First it said something like make sure the name matches the res. Did that. Then it just tells me "guest already registered". I've tried deleting cookies, I've tried different names in our party, I've tried the other # on the DME tags, I've even tried my husband's email account. NOTHING! Just keep getting "guest already registered". How I wish that were true!!!!!

Hoping the CM at the resort has some pixie dust to share and can book one for me when we arrive. Maybe if I ask REALLY nicely?

Hmm. That's not how it worked for me. I entered my reservations # (sans letters) on the BOG lunch screen, and it popped up the dates of my trip as the only options I could pick to book a fastpass for BOG. It offered Sept 13th (the day we arrive) through Sept 19th (7 days later). But it chopped off the last two days of our trip, and it would not let me select anything for those dates at all. It wasn't even an option.

My dates showed up the same way. If you click on the little arrows that appear towards the top of the screen it will move your dates over so that you can use those last two days. Good luck

Our FP+ time isn't until 11:45, so I'll pop over the the podium 20 min early and ask if we need to pick up a yellow rose. Our resort is part of the FP+ testing in Sept, but we haven't heard anything about magic bands yet.

Don't worry about it; just show up. I had no problems the both times I did it.

I haven't read through this thread so forgive me if this has been discussed. I was able to get a magic band and fp+ selections but I didn't get an email invite. It's still in my account after a few days so I assume it's actually happening. I made a fp+ reservation for BOG lunch today but will it actually be honored? I'll be solo so I don't want to wait in a long line alone!

I hope so. A BOG lunch reservation and a fast pass+ reservation is all I was worried about for this trip! I won't get up early enough to grab a regular fast pass for Toy Story. Here's hoping! I just wish they'd say if September is actually testing or not!

Check in was a breeze. The asked for my name then directed me to use the FP+ entrance. Ordering from the kiosk was simple and fast. We also got the table next to the rose. Awesome food. Awesome experience.

This thread made my day. We were going to skip BOG and then came across this. I got great reservations and my kids had fun picking out their food in advance. I do haves tip: if you as on the dining plan, preordering and have a child in your group order their dessert first then meal. Otherwise it can be confusing because it takes the dessert option away.

I tried the BOG dining Fast Pass & got a time, also ordered our lunch. This was pretty cool doing the first time, but don't know if I would want to do this all the time!

We ate there today with FP+. Walked up at 12:10pm for our 12:30 ressie and walked right in. Took about 7min with other FP+ users in front of us before we walked up to make our selections.

I am glad we didn't preorder because no one ordered what I initially thought they would.

The food comes fast after you order. The ham/gruyere sandwich was incredible. My 12yr old devoured it but she gave me one bite. My husband loved the tuna. I had the pork which was tender but way too fatty for me. 3yr old had pasta and broccoli. She ate it all. The cupcakes fell flat for us but the lemon was the best.

I would split a fountain drink. There are free refills which was so nice.

When we came out at 1:10pm (we spent a lot of time relaxing/exploring) the line was only half of the bridge. Maybe 20min max. It was MUCH longer at noon. They offered golf umbrellas for shade.

We go there for dinner on Wed night but lunch was nice!!

I've tried my reservation number several times but I can't get into the system. Do you have to be signed up for the fast pass+ system for this to work? Possibly a few other things that might be working against me - I don't get there until mid October and I'm staying on my DVC points.

Any advice?

I think you are too far out. I had been trying & couldn't get in until yesterday. My trip starts on September 9.

I have tried this several ways and it doesn't work for me. Our trip is 9/1-9/9.
We are not using MExpress.
We have a room only our first night, then a package with dining.
Some stuff is accidentally in dd19's name, but she also has a MDE account, so I have tried the RO ressie numbers with both of our names/accounts.
What am I doing wrong? Am I just not eligible? Is it because we are room only for only one night? Am I not putting in the right combo?
I wish this was more obvious...because I'm definitely missing it.
